- Abstract
The article discusses the court case Frontiero v. Richardson regarding the questioning of the constitutional interpretation and its definition by the Supreme Court of the U.S. with reference to the common law and the democratic constitutional understandings. Partial amendments like the Equal Rights Amendment passed by the judges provide information on the democratic constitutional understandings. Information on the impact of the court's decision on the legal interpretation is also presented.
