The article discusses recommendations made by the Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC) regarding a detailed legislative grouped proceeding regime for the Federal Court. Topics discussed include proceedings filed by solicitors on behalf of persons diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, a dispute between a small number of tenants at a shopping centre and the owner of the shopping centre, and the court case Peterson v Merck Sharp & Dohme (Australia) Pty Ltd.
