- Abstract
The article discusses the debate concerning the role of private enforcement of competition law in Australia. It mentions the domination of public enforcement by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission since the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) has been enacted. It further argues that the objectives of enforcement should be formulated to encompass prevention, corrective justice and the development of legal doctrine.
