- Abstract
The article explores the ways in which the U.S. transportation industry, with special focus on state's commercial drivers licensing (CDL) authorities can aid to confront human trafficking crimes. It informs that despite the U.S. law does not constitute transportation as an element of the crime but assassins utilize the transportation system including airways, waterways, and highways to commit crimes. It evaluates how a truck driver can foster trafficking as a trafficker, facilitator or buyer.
