- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses a method for regulating bio-ethanol production from starch, introduced by a research team at the Institute of Control & System Research-Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (ICSR-BAS). It states the role of enzyme reactions in a bioreactor in achieving the process of starch pre-treatment also called as saccharification. It cites the input and outputs that distinguish the procedure as an object for control strategy. Also explored are the results of simulation studies on the so-called indirect adaptive impulse control (IAIC).
