- Abstract
The article discusses the issues raised in several cases involving the allegations of legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and broker malpractice during 2010-2011. It also discusses the developments in the liability insurance of Directors and Officers. It reflects on the current economic conditions regarding the compliance of law firms with e-discovery requirements for cost-conscious clients. It provides information on the application of mediation confidentiality statutes in legal malpractice cases, and further discusses the issues relating to extension of attorney-client liabilities towards third parties.
