- Abstract
The article discusses a rare case of Phthiriasis palpebrarum, an eyelid infestation caused by Phthirus pubis, with concurrent infestation of scalp and pubic hair in a 70-year-old Chinese woman. Topics include the rarity of such cases, misdiagnosis challenges, effective diagnostic methods, and successful treatment involving manual removal, hair trimming, and the application of a phenothrin shampoo.
