- Abstract
The article reports that Drugs Controller General (India) of Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) had approved drugs for ophthalmic use as per the schedule Y of Drugs and Cosmetics (D and C) Act 1940 and Rules 1945. Information about the adverse effects of drug-related problem in pharmacovigilance, is given. Also highlighted is the monitoring for all adverse drug reactions (ADRs) at larger population in the country.
