- Abstract
The article focuses on the medical assessment of mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI), which is an acute, complex and pathophysiologic process induced by traumatic biomechanical forces. It offers recommendations for evaluation and treatment of mTBI, which include finding the level of consciousness, orientation and neuromotor status. It adds that patients who sustain mTBI will likely to experience post concussive syndrome (PCS).
