- Abstract
The article focuses on Canadian sentencing provisions that regulates treatment of Aboriginal persons with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) convicted for criminal offences. Topics discussed include the Canadian criminal justice system, the need of Canadian judges to adopt and utilize needs-based sentencing for FASD persons and the problem of Aboriginal over-incarceration. It suggest Canadian government to reinvest in providing justice to Aboriginal people.
