- Abstract
The author presents his thoughts in favor of project-based learning (PBL) in science education, stating that such a method allows students to take responsibility for their learning and engage in science and engineering practices. He proposes several features of authentic project-based science (PBS) learning such as collaboration among students, teachers, and the community, student choice in topics, research questions, and methods, and educational relevance.
