- Abstract
The article discusses the use of singing in rounds for Kodály-inspired music instruction. It explains the value of rounds in helping students learn about autonomy, competence and relatedness. Other topics discussed include how rounds teach students about following rules and creating harmony within a classroom environment, how rounds motivate students, and how rounds provide problem-solving tasks for creative and critical thinking.
