The article focuses on the pneumatic nail guns in the homebuilding industry. Topics discussed include advantages of pneumatic nail gun with a sequential actuation trigger (SAT) over contact actuation trigger (CAT); injury incident rate for workers from nail guns reported by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries; and review of nine nail-gun-related fatality in the U.S.(Occupational Safety & Health Administration) OSHA Integrated Management Information System.
