- Abstract
The article focuses on the long-term sequencing success of Broad Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The profiles of its key people Chad Nusbaum and Rob Nicol are provided including their functions and responsibilities at the institute. The two-way relationship of the institute with Illumina is explained as well as the sharing of results that started with Solexa. The testing conducted by Nusbaum on any new next generation sequencing (NGS) operation is discussed.
