- Abstract
An essay is presented which explores correspondence between actress Annie Russell and novelist Faith Baldwin. The authors use the correspondence to develop a historical narrative of Russell's life based on this correspondence. They discuss the role of imagination in their historical storytelling and present a methodology for a historiography of informed imagination that includes primary-source research, contextual research, and the development of answers using informed imagination.
