- Abstract
The article discusses the project of the Committee RA24 of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists. RA24 was responsible for the development of tests methods on the qualitative identification, and quantitative determination of fiber mixtures. Its current project works on the improvement of reliability, relevance, and reproducibility of cashmere, or wool. It also investigates on metallic yarn, particularly on its precise definition of metallic. It explores the history of the Committee RA24.
