- Abstract
The work presents results of research on affirmative actions in education and the narratives of black students. Affirmative Actions presuppose a historical repair of inequalities, and were instituted with Laws No. 12,711 / 2012, No. 10,639 / 2003 and National Curriculum Guidelines for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations, and Decree No. 7,234 / 2010. Findings revealed that these contributions configure the three axes of affirmative actions in education: access through the reservation of vacancies or quotas, education for ethnic-racial relations and student assistance. It is intended to contribute to reflections on racial inequalities, protagonism of the Black Movement and the emergence of affirmative actions.
