- Abstract
The article explores the economic condition of Reno, Nevada. The place is known as the Biggest Little City in the World and the largest city in Nevada where gambling is legalized. Reno's Central Pacific Railroad and the Union Pacific Railroad Co. are considered important economic indicators. The transcontinental railroad plays an important role in the economic development of Reno since bars and other establishments have set up business close to the tracks.
