- Abstract
The article describes the shortage of skilled workers in German medium-sized companies, especially in rural areas. To counteract this problem, the article suggests that companies could enter into partnerships with other companies to obtain services or supplies. An example of such a company is the NETZSCH Group, a family-owned mechanical engineering company based in Bavaria. The company has difficulties finding technical professionals, especially in the fields of information technology and engineering. To alleviate the shortage of skilled workers, the article also emphasizes the importance of regional cooperation. The NETZSCH Group pursues the approach of solving the shortage of skilled workers through company collaborations, which enables the transfer of technology, know-how, and market access. An example of such a collaboration is the cooperation with the electronics service provider SYS TEC electronic, where tasks and development work are passed on to the partner. The companies met at an event organized by the ecosystems and exchange information to enable fast and pragmatic cooperation.
