- Abstract
Aware that the media sphere in North Macedonia is lagging behind, as a society, but also as professionals in the field, we have not acted quickly and concretely on the creation and development of policies of the objective media world. Journalism and the media have been, are and will remain the Surgery of Society, regardless of which society it is, be it Dutch, French, British, Macedonian or Albanian. The establishment of intercultural relations in Northern Macedonia, although it should be understood as a cultural asset, they do not provide this insight, nor the feeling that should be conveyed through culture, tradition and language as the main means of communication which in our society through the media is transmitted as a power. It was shown that the language of community 1 does not have the same value as community 2 both through the educational system in the country as well as in many other areas. The same indicator is appearing in the media / television in North Macedonia. Even with the amendment of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Services by the Assembly of Northern Macedonia, which regulates the use of languages in the media and determines the time and penalties in case of non-compliance, however this is not specifically reflected in the media in the Macedonian language. This act, media owners call imposing with the strongest reasoning, lack of funding and assistance from the Government or the Assembly. In addition to requests for assistance from the Government, there is a lack of international funding, which would be inevitable. For the creation of this climate of bilingualism, in addition to journalistic incompetence who failed to fulfill the educational function in society, part of the blame lies with the poorly educated public, but as key culprits for this chaotic situation in the media according to experts remain politics and politicians who did not pay any attention to this area. According to them, probably with the reason that they can control these media while controlling the news and information at the same time. The media continue to be hostage to politics and politicians, but not least to businessmen, forgetting the objectivity in journalism, which as partially professional remains hostage to inadequate education, therefore new platforms must be created.
