- Authors
ZAHARIA, Juliana
- Abstract
Socialization, care for children, emanation of affection, are functions, which make family the unique structure of the society, and the place where people learn to be together and build relationships. Inside Albanian society those precious family functions are under the permanent pressure and challenge of issues, problems and negative phenomena. For many people family place is an uncertain place deprived from homes and jobs. This uncertainty conditions choices, which during last years have been often the choices of running somewhere else, far away from birth cities and villages. This paper aims to explore scientific concepts of theories which funnel family policies in the context of family wellbeing. Researches by Ogburn, Murdock, Spitz and their theories, are fundamental for further scientific analyse of family structural functions in society. This paper also represent an explorative view, which the purpose is to distinguish in which way Albanian government intervene and find responses to family issues, and how the government philosophy and operating go along with European Union strategies and recommendations, which point to higher access to recourses, adequate living standards and qualitative services for families.
