- Abstract
The commu-nication process is elementary among living beings and the way it is accomplished is a key factor in the development of civilization. With the verbal communication, we mainly deliver information, and with the non - verbal communication, we deliver attitudes and emotional relation towards the information we receive or relation to the person with whom we communicate. The nonverbal communication takes up a significant part of the communication that takes place among people. People, even when they do not speak, never stop communicating because they constantly send information about themselves with their body. Those signals may indicate the current state of the speaker, but may be misunderstood. That is why nonverbal communication can and should be key to effective communication. Among kinesic signs, facial expression has a special significance in non-verbal communication and in communication in general. The face of the speaker is the most visible part of the body, that is, it has many opportunities for expression. In this paper, a lot of attention will be paid precisely to the movements of the face, that is the direction of the look, meaning, the eye contact in the communication process among people.
