- Title
Patients' choice in their final resting place.
- Authors
Dawes, Jonathan
- Abstract
The author reflects on the Marie Curie Cancer Cure's supporting the right to die at home campaign. He suggests that the campaign will initially cost Great Britain's National Health Service up to 100 million pounds, it will eventually save 200 million pounds worth of hospital resources. He argues that while it is a good thing that the British government wants to save costs and improve medical care quality, the government also needs to consider resource allocation and training budgets.
