- Title
Spend on services, not advertising.
- Authors
Pollard, Tom
- Abstract
The article comments on the advertising of services offered by the National Health Service (NHS), an inevitable consequence of the new competition agenda in the health care sector of Great Britain. Concerns are raised regarding how much of a burden the advertising of NHS services will be to taxpayers. Even the well-intended code of conduct for the promotion of NHS services is not enough to allay concerns that the advertising plan is unnecessary spending by the NHS.
