- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which aims to examine the current distribution of Marmosops handleyi, a species of mouse opposum in the northern Andes of Colombia. It mentions that there have been no additional reported data for M. handleyi and knowledge about the taxonomy, ecology, natural history, and evolutionary relationships of the species is deficient. Morphological comparisons with a sympatric congeneric species recognized as M. caucae depicted new external and craniodental characters that can be used in redescribing M. handleyi.
