- Title
Sexual boundaries.
- Abstract
The article focuses on a medical report by Great Britain's Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence, which required that mental health nurses build sexual boundaries with patients. It defined sexual behavior and cited examples of including sexual humor during consultations and exchange of drugs for sexual favors. Relationships between nurses and patients depend on confidence and trust, and any form of sexualized behavior toward a patient breaches that trust and is similar to a criminal act.
