- Abstract
A sinusoidal voltage controller based on a transformer with an adjustable transformation coefficient and a key switch is considered. This controller ensures a wide range of variations in the controller output voltage and a high adjustment resolution. Various controller design topologies are considered, and one of the most efficient solutions is proposed. Electromagnetic processes in the power equipment of the controller are analyzed. Approaches to calculating and selecting characteristics of the power equipment of the controllers are proposed. A variant of implementing the power units of a 0.4-kV, 1-mVA voltage controller and its firmware control system set is presented. The characteristics and specific technical specifications of the controller are obtained. The strengths and potential applications of the proposed controller design topology are considered.
