- Abstract
An essay is presented on the importance of teaching criminal law students in a way that would prepare them for examinations. According to the author, her teaching objectives include allowing students to define legal terms used in criminal statutes, determine ambiguities in those terms and analyze legal and factual issues. The author explains her approach to teaching legal analysis. The author notes that criminal law teachers should openly and consciously help students hone their skill.
