- Abstract
The article looks at cases involving laws related to reasonable expectation of privacy under the Fourth Amendment including the U.S. Supreme Court cases "United States v. Jones," "Riley v. California," and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts' (SJC) " Commonwealth v Augustine." It discussed how laws violated the Fourth Amendment by gathering Global Positioning System (GPS) data from a tracking device or cell phone.
