- Abstract
The article describes the case of a six-year old diagnosed with relapsing juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML) that transformed to acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It outlines the diagnostic criteria for JMML and its genetic features. The patient was treated with cycles of azacitidine and AML-BFM-2004 and underwent allo-hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and cytoreductive chemotherapy with cytarabine/fludarabine after myeloblasts were found in his bone marrow.
