- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 31-year-old woman who was presented to the hospital with abdominal distension and pelvic pain that had persisted for 3 months. The sonographic findings of the patient were highly suggestive of pelvic tuberculosis. The authors note that the findings consistently included loculated/septate ascites, ascites with a lattice-like appearance and thickened peritoneum.
