- Abstract
Twelve indolyl diketopiperazines <bold>1</bold>-<bold>12</bold> were isolated from the mycelia culture of <italic>Aspergillus penicilliodes</italic> Speg., a dominant microorganism from the post fermentation process of ripe Pu-er tea. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods. Among them, trypostatins C (<bold>1</bold>) and D (<bold>2</bold>) featuring with a rare methyl vinyl ketone side chain at C-2 are new compounds, while <bold>3</bold> and <bold>4</bold> were obtained for the first time from nature source. The isolates <bold>3</bold>-<bold>12</bold> did not show obvious cytotoxicities against five human cancer cell lines at a concentration of 40 μM.
