- Title
Secondary Succession and the Pattern of Plant Dominance Along Experimental Nitrogen Gradients.
- Authors
Tilman, David
- Abstract
The article focuses on a study concerning impact of varying nitrogen gradients on secondary succession and plant dominance patterns. Topics discussed include increase in species richness with increase in nitrogen along the gradient, impact of nitrogen addition on biomass, decrease in vegetation with low nitrogen supply rates and decrease in abundance of Schizachyrium scoparium following addition of nitrogen as an exception.
