- Abstract
Families involved in high-conflict child custody disputes can pose unique challenges for child protection workers, therefore requiring consistent and supportive supervision. This cross-sectional study of 208 child protection services providers explored the context of casework supervision. Findings reveal inconsistencies regarding the supervision workers received when working with families that are high-conflict. Implications of the study are addressed, including the preliminary development of a supervision model for child protection services for managing high-conflict cases.
