This article bases on the thesis that accepts national identity is a social construct. Bilingual (Romaic- Turkish) people's performances of Turkishness in üaykara region is examined. This study also investigates how these performances are shaped by geography and education. The paper uses semi-structured in-depth interview and ethnographic observation for collecting data.
