- Abstract
The article presents the study of the plasmodium phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase inhibitor MMV390048 and its effectiveness in treating malaria. It mentions its chemoprotection potential capable of delaying the relapse of Plasmodium cynomolgi and disrupt the malaria parasites' life cycle stages. It also notes its reduction of parasitic transmission.
