- Abstract
International Humanitarian Law is a set of legal norms that seek to lessen the harmful effects of internal and international armed conflicts. In this context, a fundamental mechanism to ensure that the States can reduce their consequences consists, specifically, in the design of a public policy, which includes the issuance of the corresponding legal framework, aimed at creating adequate conditions for reintegration. community of ex-combatants. For this purpose, the institution has designed and implemented different models of psychosocial care for reintegration: the Return to Legality Model (2004), the Psychosocial Care Model for Peace (2010) and the Multidimensional Reintegration Model (2013), which have gone through from strategies for returning to legality to meeting needs and overcoming the conditions of vulnerability of people in the process of reintegration. This descriptive and analytical composition deals with institutional transitions in terms of reintegration, based on the continuities and turns of its psychosocial models, as well as the narratives of ex combatants. Among the conclusions that this work yields is the transition from minimalism of reintegration to maximalism of reintegration.
