Title
VACATUR OF AWARD -- INTERNATIONAL -- NOTICE -- NEW YORK -- CPLR 7506(b).
Abstract
The article focuses on the court decision held in the case PPX Enterprises Inc. v. Musicali, related to the industrial arbitration. Where a notice of hearing was mailed to a provincial town in Italy four days in advance of the arbitration hearing, such notice failed to meet the minimum standard for the giving of notice under CPLR 7506 (b) and it was error for the trial court to refuse to vacate the ex parte award.
