- Abstract
For the Fokas–Olver–Rosenau–Qiao (FORQ) equation with higher-order nonlinearity, the multi-peakon solutions on the line was constructed by Anco and Recio in 2019. In this paper, we construct 2-peakon solutions on the circle. Moreover, the non-uniqueness of the FORQ equation with higher-order nonlinearity is studied. By reversing the time and constructing different solutions with the same initial condition, we proved the non-uniqueness of the FORQ equation with higher-order nonlinearity in Sobolev space H s for s < 3 / 2 .
