- Abstract
The article profiles baptist theologian James William McClendon Jr. He died at the age of 76 on October 30, 2007. He was able to publish seven books on theology before he died. McClendon's work was recognized by many of the people for its significant contributions. He was one of the most influential theologian of his time. He had gained various teaching experiences in the field of theology. Aside from being a theologian, he is also a dedicated ecumenist. Among his ecumenical contributions were various theological progeny produced, the scholars he has helped in the more radical stream of Christianity that emphasizes serious discipleship.
