- Abstract
In the paper, the ordinal optimization method for Marginal Clearing Price (MCP) forecasting is proposed. The basic idea is to use a competition based simulation model, in order to analyze the influence of the bidding strategies on MCP, and to establish the optimal bidding strategies of generators in uncertainty conditions of the nodal loads. For nodal loads, the fuzzy models were used. As a result, this proposed approach has the advantages of a good accuracy of MCP estimation in a deregulated market.
