- Abstract
The article presents a case study involving an 11-year-old Chinese girl who was referred to Peking Union Medical College Hospital for evaluation of a 4-year history of growth retardation and weight gain. Low-dose dexamethasone suppression tests revealed a diagnosis of Cushing's syndrome. The predictive value of high-dose dexmathasone suppression tests is limited in the differential diagnosis of ACTH-dependent Cushing's syndrome.
