- Abstract
The article explores the perspectives and experiences of Canadian health care professionals and patients with diabetes on self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) in Canada. He states that health care professionals commonly recommend self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG), while patients with diabetes regularly perform SMBG. He emphasizes that pharmacists and other health care professionals play a significant role in educating patients on the appropriate use of SMBG.
