- Title
TEACHING AS ART.
- Authors
Milder, Patricia
- Abstract
The article explores teaching as an art and the use of contemporary lecture performance. Through "Art History With Benefits," which refers to popular culture, the Bruce High Quality Foundation (BHQF) illuminates problems in the commercialized structure of the art world and art education. In choreographer Jerome Bel's "Veronique Doisneau," he proves the use of direct language to reveal a social structure to an audience. The National Theater of the USA educates audiences in "Chautauqua!" about the implications of mass entertainment and cultural education.
