- Abstract
The article describes a case of disseminated herpesvirus-1 infection in an 8-year-old, spayed-female Golden retriever dog. The medical history of the patient included lethargy, inappetence and fever for four days following treatment with doxorubicin. It describes the side effects experienced by the dog following treatment with doxorubicin. A discussion on the occurrence of canine herpesvirus-1 infection is detailed.
