The purpose of this article is to remember and celebrate the implantation of the Discalced Carmelite Friars in Marquina (Vizcaya-Spain) in 1868 and to explain how thanks to this re-establishment, the Order became present in almost all of the Spanish speaking countries. The article refers exclusively to the period 1868 to 1950.
