- Abstract
The article offers information on the websites that are dedicated to stealing copyrighted material thus harming the U.S. economy. It states that the government has limited itself to domains that are registered in the U.S. however foreign corporations own some of the seized domains of the country. According to the U.S. Stop Online Piracy Act, websites like Google and Facebook have demonstrated their embrace of pro-sharing attitudes and so the government keeps tracking the records on the sites. It further states that the U.S. government will establish regulations which can guide international consensus related to the Internet.
