- Abstract
The article focuses on how private institutions can contribute to philanthropy efforts effectively and how they have created a 'fourth sector' under taxation law. It is noted that the three main sectors were previously defined as: business, government, and nonprofit organizations. The author examines the effectiveness of private philanthropy organizations and compares them to nonprofits.
