- Abstract
The article discusses the views of professor of law Jeremy Waldron on dignity, rights, and responsibilities. Topics discussed include the right to free speech, views of poet John Milton and philosopher John Stuart Mill that the right to free speech is linked with the development of certain virtues of character, and the possibility of hate speech regulation when free speech is understood as a responsibility-right.
