Title
Free SBV tests for cattle and sheep imported to Scotland.
Abstract
The article reports on the free Schmallenberg virus (SBV) testing in cattle and sheep offered in Scotland. The Scottish government cites animal movements as the source of SBV cases in the country. The Moredun Research Institute (MRI) and Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) suggested that animals should be treated between 14-21 days after they are imported.
